Hoya Carnosa 'Tricolor', Waxflower, Live Houseplant, Indoor Plant, Flowering Plant
Botanical Name: Hoya carnosa 'tricolor'
Common Name(s): Tricolor, Porcelain Flower, Wax Plant, Honey Plant
Description: This hoya is native to the rainforests of Australia and East Asia. The right amount of bright indirect light will give it a mix of pink, white, and green colors on the leaves, hence the name tricolor. In the wild, this plant grows on trees and doesn't demand much care.
Care: This succulent-like plant has thick, waxy leaves that make it low maintenance. Use a well-draining aroid potting mix and wait until the top two inches of soil are dry before watering. Give this plant plenty of bright indirect light but avoid harsh direct sunlight to prevent scorching the leaves. Use a plant food diluted to half the listed strength.
